CLASSIC CAR CLUB OF AMERICA COLORADO REGION                                

Call to order - Director Joe Pirrone called the meeting to order at 7:00 PM
Roll call - Current Board members present were: Lonnie Fallin, Joe Pirrone, Tom Goyne, Frank Keller, Davis McCann,

Terry Johnson, Tony Ficco, Tom Kostelecky and Ron Damiana.  Absent for the meeting was Phil Doty.  Bill Hunter our

representative on the Old Car Council was in attendence.   Minutes of the February 2, 2017 meeting were distributed,

reviewed and approved by the Board members present. 
Financial report - Frank Keller presented the financials and reported that as of March 7, 2017 the club had $59,780

in assets.  The financial report presented was approved by the Board.
Membership report - Davis McCann, membership chairman reported that currently there were 76 paid members of the club. 

Davis also delivered the new club directory to the Board members and stated that the directory will be mailed to the

club members in April, 2017.
Classicist report - Tom Goyne reported that he was finishing up on the next Classicist and it will be distributed to

the club members in April, 2017.  He is planning the next Classicist with the idea that the issue will focus on the

Rolls Royce and 1934 Packards.  
Old Car Council report - Bill Hunter reported that he attended the most recent meeting of the council where various

topics were discussed including the state legislative bill being proposed to modify the required auto VIN # inspection

and the salvage title requirements.  Bill also passed out a list of various car events planned for the Denver area

during 2017.
Event planning - The following club events are planned for the year:
April 22 - Spring event - Terry presented his plan for the event and stated that it would be a dual club event with

the Early Ford V8 club.  Four stops will be made on the tour with lunch to follow. 
Lonnie stated that he would help Terry and will investigate various places for lunch.  Terry stated that he would

prepare a club mailing to be mailed out to all club members within the next two weeks with details of the event.  
June 4 - Drive to the historic Beottcher Mansion located on Lookout Mountain for a tour of the estate followed by

a drive and lunch. September - Mini tour.  Various routes and events were discussed by Tom and Tony with the possible

event being a 3 day tour to Telluride, Co with the possibility of attending the annual car show in Telluride in

September. Tentative dates will be Sept. 21-22-23-24.  
November 16 - Club Annual meeting.  Time and location to be determined. December - Christmas party originally

scheduled to be held at the Columbine Country Club but due to uncertainty about the completion of the new club house

Tom will look for alternative locations.   Joe next discussed several ideas to attract new members along with different

events for the club to hold during the year.  A couple of ideas included scheduling the Board meetings on a weekend and

inviting all club members to the meeting with the meeting being followed by a driving tour.  Board members offered

support for this idea and suggested that we do this for the July Board meeting.
The next Board meeting is to be held on April 27, 2017.
